Get incredibly lifelike renderings for Revit using Enscape and V-Ray 6

Get incredibly lifelike renderings for Revit using Enscape and V-Ray 6

With the official launch of Enscape compatibility with V-Ray 6 for Revit, extending the visual quality of your Enscape designs is now made simpler.

Now that Enscape and V-Ray are both used by 3D artists, designers, and architects, they can easily transfer their compatible Enscape assets, materials, and cloud setups into V-Ray.

Petr Mitev, vice president of Enscape's Visualization Product Group, describes how the new connection between these two premier visualization programs can boost productivity and provide access to extremely realistic renderings.

"Thanks to the increased compatibility between Enscape and V-Ray, moving from real-time design to photoreal is now much faster and simpler.

Artists can rapidly pick up where the design team left off because of a straightforward handoff from one rendering tool to another. They can view design decisions and Enscape data right away in V-Ray.

V-Ray accessing Enscape elements

With the most recent update, users can import the following data directly into V-Ray for Revit without having to start from scratch. Designers will benefit from the time savings and be able to concentrate more on perfecting their visuals.

Assets from the Enscape library that are compatible with Revit will automatically render with V-Ray if they are included in the model. Put the assets in Enscape and render using V-Ray or Enscape. You no longer have to start over from begin by deleting the entire Enscape entourage and replacing them with fresh V-Ray components if you choose to produce ultra-realistic renderings.

Materials: With the click of a button, Enscape materials can either be promoted to the V-Ray Asset Editor, where they can be further improved with V-Ray parameters, or they can be automatically converted to V-Ray and rendered.

Cloud configurations: With only one click of a button, cloud settings from multiple Enscape visual presets may be imported into V-Ray.

For use as a "V-Ray Proxy" in any application that hosts V-Ray, such as 3ds Max or Cinema4D, export an Enscape project from V-Ray to.vrscene.

Recall that Enscape is also V-Ray 6 compatible with SketchUp and Rhino!
