The DotProduct DPI-10 Kit is a handheld imaging system for real-time acquisition of 3D data. The DPI-10 Kit is equipped with a PrimeSense Carmine 1.08 camera and converts a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Windows Go tablet into a powerful, easy-to-use handheld scanner system with Dot3D™ software.

The tablet slides into the DPI-10 kit via the appropriate connector housing and is additionally secured by a latch. A magnetic plate on the chassis can be used to attach the Intel® RealSense™ sensors.

The fully mobile system captures objects and environments three-dimensionally in real time and processes them directly on the tablet. Since you can scan with the DPI-10 system without any annoying cables, you can fully concentrate on the area to be scanned. You can also scan blocked areas that are difficult or impossible to reach with other technologies.

Collect and register the data using only the computing power of the tablet. Define the coordinate system on the tablet, register multiple data sets on site and take measurements quickly and easily. You can instantly view the point cloud datasets on the tablet.

Dot3D™ 3D processing software uses simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms that allow 3D cameras to transmit real-time reconstructions and localizations to mobile devices.

You benefit from a user-friendly workflow: With the Dot3D™ software, you can quickly and easily add new data to scan data or an existing coordinate system – without the need for targets. Registration on the tablet allows larger areas to be captured and facilitates post-processing.
