With the hand-held imaging system DotProduct DPI-X Kit you capture 3D data in real time. The DPI-X Kit features a PrimeSense Carmine 1.08 camera and turns any Android or Windows device into a powerful, easy-to-use handheld scanner system with Dot3D™ software.
The new DPI-X kit features high-quality Rokform mounting components and magnetic plates on the back; so the kit can be easily attached to the device used (tablet, laptop or smartphone).
With the mobile system from the DPI-X Kit in combination with any device, you can record objects and environments in 3D. Because the system is so small and handy, you can even reach tight or blocked areas. The system processes the captured data in real time on the device, so you can follow the scan progress directly.
You can determine the coordinate system on site, register several data sets and already take measurements in the 3D data.
With Dot3D™, the software for processing the data, you have simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms at your disposal, which enable the transmission of reconstructions and localizations in real time to mobile devices.
You benefit from a user-friendly workflow: With the Dot3D™ software, you can quickly and easily add new data to scan data or an existing coordinate system – without the need for targets. Registration on the tablet allows larger areas to be captured and facilitates post-processing.
