DescriptionDetails & specsAttachments
The Z+F IMAGER® 5010C laser scanner from the German company Zoller + Fröhlich (Z+F) opens up new possibilities for imaging. The camera built into the device now allows you to photograph the scanned object without using any external devices. The camera used in the scanner allows you to take photographs with an extended tonal range (HDR - High Dynamic Range). As a result, the still images obtained during the operation of the camera have an excellent balance of image contrast, regardless of the lighting conditions of the object. Z+F is the first in the industry to integrate this technology into laser scanners.

Description
The new instrument retains all the advantages of its predecessor, including a measurement range of up to 187 meters, the ability to work at sub-zero ambient temperatures, a very fast scanning process and high measurement accuracy.

The class 1 laser light source used in the laser scanner ensures safe operation of the device for human vision, expanding the possible scopes of the scanner.

The tool is equipped with a color touch screen that allows you to view the received data directly during operation, and in addition, control various scanner parameters, eliminating the need for an external computer to control the device, which, in turn, simplifies the process of working with the equipment.

Due to the exceptional detail of the data obtained, along with the highest accuracy of the results provided by the phase measurement method, this tool is most optimal for scanning industrial objects and architectural forms.

When using a tool for scanning industrial objects, the speed of the device comes first. An important role here is played by the presence of a built-in camera, which makes it easy to decipher all the smallest elements of engineering structures when processing the survey results. Due to the high speed of the laser scanner, downtime periods of industrial equipment during the shooting are reduced, and in some cases, equipment shutdown is not required at all. If the scanner is used in conjunction with the EdgeWise software package, it is possible to build 3D digital models of interior spaces, factory areas, industrial equipment, various structural elements, as well as export these models to other software products for subsequent design.

In architectural applications, whether it be shooting facades or architectural monuments, the Z+F IMAGER® 5010C laser scanner allows you to save all the smallest elements for later work. Due to this, it is possible to obtain a detailed image of the object for its archiving or use in the preparation of a reconstruction project.

The scanner has a compact size, light weight and a very wide field of view of 360 x 320 degrees, thanks to which it can be effectively used both in small rooms with cramped measurement conditions, and on large objects with a large number of standing points.

If you select medium scanning density and high quality of the results in the device parameters, a full cycle of work at one standing point will take less than 10 minutes - about three and a half minutes will be required to perform panoramic photography, and about three and a half minutes to actually scan.
