Large laser scanner checkerboard targets as a set

The set comes with 5 checkerboard targets, which fit neatly into the space-saving bag.

Universal: This checkerboard target can be used with both laser scanners and tachymeters (non-reflective).

Flexibility: Besides its compact dimensions ensuring easy handling, the checkerboard target is an ideal laser scanning companion due to its ability to measure long distances.

The axis of the checkered pattern is exactly situated in the axis of the connection. In the case of a level checkerboard target, the center of the checkerboard target is still unchanged in position and height when it pivots on the axis.

Hints for registration in FARO Scene:

If you use pivoted checkerboard targets (orientation towards the scanner), you should deactivate the box “Use Checkerboard Normals” in the default setting of placement of scans in Scene Software. For more information, click here.
