The Leica HDS6100 uses a phase measurement method with a very high scan rate (up to 508,000 points per second) and a 360°x310° field of view. The system allows you to quickly obtain high-resolution data in almost any conditions when performing construction work at all stages and further monitoring of structures and infrastructures. The maximum measurement range has been increased in the scanner (up to 79 m at a surface reflectance of 90%), the parameters of measurement accuracy have been improved, and a two-axis tilt sensor has been installed. All these improvements reduce the number of standing points required for shooting and the number of target marks required for binding, which significantly reduces the total scanning time, and together with an increase in the working temperature interval, increases the scope of the phase scanner.
Greater control and adjustment options for individual scanners.
The scanner can be controlled in three different ways:
1. Using the control panel installed on the side cover of the scanner.
2. Using a wireless connection with a PDA.
3. Using a laptop computer.

For accurate adjustment (registration) of several scans into a single geometric network, Leica Cyclone REGISTER is used, which allows processing measurements both by target marks and by identical points (the "cloud with cloud" method) without the use of target marks.
