Telescopic mast for leveling platform, mast length: 2.95 meters, installation on a vehicle, suitable for site surveying and structural inventory
Do you want to capture an even larger area when scanning? Then simply mount the leveling platform with laser scanner on this lift. With the lift for the leveling platform, you can position your 3D laser scanner even higher so that no shadows are created, for example when scanning balconies or other objects that are not visible from the ground. With the help of the lift, you can reduce the number of stations and thus save time.
The system consists of a pneumatically operated telescopic mast, an integrated compressor and an adjustable frame for mounting on the roof rack of any vehicle.
At the push of a button, the mast moves to the vertical position; then the extensions are extended to the maximum possible height.
Measuring principle:
The lift is used in combination with the leveling platform, a 3D laser scanner and a GPS receiver.
Mount the lift together with the leveling platform on the vehicle roof. Then attach a 3D laser scanner to the platform and place a GPS receiver on top of the scanner. At the push of a button, the lift is brought into the vertical position and extended to the maximum. In this way, the laser scanner reaches a very high position. Now you can start scanning.
Drive from one scan position to another. At each scan position you have to stop the vehicle and level the leveling platform with the laser scanner at the push of a button. You can then scan the environment as usual.
