With the EinScan HX, you can capture complex geometries in great detail in a very short time. You do not have to make any preparations for the scanning.
Due to the comfortable handling and light weight of the scanner, scanning is very easy. During the measurement, the scanner's field of view is displayed on a computer, allowing you to check which areas have already been scanned. The controls are very intuitive and versatile. With various settings on the scanner and in the software, you can set the ideal measurement configuration for each object.
Thanks to its high level of accuracy and resolution, the EinScan HX meets the requirements in the industrial sector and for other reverse engineering tasks in many respects. Using the optical metrology in Rapid-Scan, the scanner achieves a recording speed of 1,200,000 points per second with an image recording rate of 20 frames per second. The accuracy is 0.05 mm with a maximum resolution of 0.25 mm. However, the optical measuring method reaches its limits as soon as there is little object geometry or shiny and black surfaces make object recognition difficult. In this case, the device offers the possibility of a laser scan.
The laser scan is even more precise and has a higher resolution than the optical scan. In laser scan mode, up to 480,000 points per second can be recorded. The EinScan HX also has an RGB color camera, which makes a textured measurement possible. It also supports the alignment of the individual scans through texture alignment.

The scanner and software can be learned to operate very intuitively. Thanks to the ergonomic design and the low weight, you will have no problems handling it, even for longer measurements. In real time move the scanner around the object; a high-precision 3D image is created. You can follow the measurement on a connected computer for data processing and visualization and see areas that are not recorded. An on-site calibration of the scanner can be carried out within a few minutes before the start of the measurement. After some project settings, the measurement can be started directly. All necessary geometries are recorded by scanning the object using various types of alignment. The data transfer takes place via USB3.0; this ensures a fast and trouble-free flow of data.
After the measurement object has been recorded, simple and efficient post-processing takes place in the associated software. Point clouds as well as meshing networks can be output. Precise settings can be made that affect the quality of the results. In this way, a qualitatively suitable meshing can be output in the case of lower accuracy requirements.
