As one of the newest members of the EinScan product range, the EinScan Pro HD is characterized by a very high resolution and high accuracy at the same time. The 3D scanner enables remarkably easy and stable recording.
With improved projection technology, black and glossy surfaces can be captured. The EinScan Pro HD offers various recording options, which significantly expands the field of application. Whether fixed or hand-held, in optical or structured light scan mode, the scanner offers ideal conditions for your measurements. The high standards for industry and reverse engineering are achieved thanks to state-of-the-art technology and excellent software processing.
With the various alignment variants in connection with the extremely high recording speed, the EinScan Pro HD makes comfortable recording possible. In optical scan mode, up to 3,000,000 points per second are processed. The possibility of the fixed scan allows optimal accuracy to be achieved with strip light technology.
Accuracies of up to 0.04 mm can be achieved with the EinScan Pro HD. For comparison: the diameter of a head hair is about 0.07 mm.
With this measurement accuracy, high demands on accuracy can be met and exact planning can be made. The associated software offers the possibility of processing and outputting exact meshing and point cloud data.
The EinScan Pro HD can be expanded with various modules, such as the Color Pack, which includes an RGB color camera. This enables textured measurements and texture alignment.
The EXSCAN PRO software that comes with the scanner offers professional tools for editing and processing the scan data. When creating the mesh, you can variably influence the quality and appearance of your results, so that efficient further processing is guaranteed.
functionality
The EinScan Pro HD captures measurement objects in real time in terms of shape and color (with color pack). The scanner is aimed at the object from different directions and thus captures all relevant details.
With a refresh rate of 30 frames per second in rapid scan and 10 frames per second in handheld HD scan, the recording is very dynamic. The scanner is moved around the object like a video camera.
The field of view of the scanner is displayed in the associated software, so that the measurement can be followed very clearly.
Individual images can be linked in the following ways:
object geometry
Marker points (measuring markers)
Texture (only with Color Pack)
Hybrid alignment (object geometry and marker points)
The EinScan Pro HD is set up, connected and ready to measure within a few minutes. With the help of the supplied calibration plate, it can be ensured before each measurement that the results correspond to the maximum achievable level of accuracy. The calibration is automated and can be carried out within a maximum of 5 minutes.
After the project settings have been made, the measurement can start. In the hand-guided rapid scan mode, the focus is on handling the scanner. After gaining some experience with it, larger or immovable objects can also be detected quickly. It helps if the target has good geometry for feature alignment.
The handheld HD scan mode is used whenever high accuracy and resolution are required. It is particularly useful for objects that are too large or heavy to place on a turntable. Here, too, it is a good prerequisite if the measurement object has an optimal geometry for the alignment.
The fixed scan modes are used when the highest accuracies and resolutions are to be achieved. The scanner is placed on a tripod with the help of the industrial pack and is not moved during the measurement. The measurement object is then the moving part during scanning. This movement (usually rotation) can be realized with or without a turntable. Feature alignment is also available for the frozen scans. For maximum accuracy, however, alignment using the supplied targets is recommended.
During the recording, the software shows in real time which areas have already been recorded. The measurement can be paused at any time and continued at known tie points. If you are satisfied with your result, the project is finalized with just a few clicks. The point cloud can then be exported from the recorded measurement data or a high-quality mesh can be created.
